SUCCESS STORIES
Annie the Hound

Annie is in her forever home!

Fund helped me out and had extensive treatment until all the Heartworms were gone. If it were not for the QCPAWS Angel Fund, I would have died. The Rock Island County Animal Shelter Staff took good care of me while I was in a 1 month treatment.   I am still available for adoption and waiting for my forever home.

Kane

Kane is in his forever home at last!

Kane had been at our shelter many times!  Kane was a frequent flyer and had been in and out of homes many times.  This time is different!  Kane IS in his forever home!  He has not run away from them yet!  Must be because of all the love he feels from them!

Sugar

Sugar gets a forever home!

Sugar was brought into the shelter with Mange.  She is now in a forever home, with all her fur and had very happy!

Morty

Morty is in his forever home!

Morty is an old man.... Who would ever adopt this old dog, we all thought.  Morty was at the shelter for a week, when a senior person came in looking for the perfect senior dog.... Match made in heaven!

Lucky Lucy

Lucy gets a forever home!

Lucky Lucy was found in a dog kennel in a church parking lot with an enoumous hole in the side of her skull.  We do not know that hole got there, but she overcame this and was adopted out to a forever home!

Syra

Syra finda a forever home!Syra came to the shelter as a stray. Apparently she had been hit by a car and was dragging her left front leg.  It was diagnosed as severe nerve damage, and the leg needed to be amputated.  The QCPAWS Angel Fund paid for the surgery and she went into foster care with a volunteer.  She eventually went to a wonderful home, has a new brother, Maynard the Golden Retriever, and a couple of cat friends.  It is said that she is known by the whole neighborhood.
