Morty is an old man.... Who would ever adopt this old dog, we all thought.  Morty was at the shelter for a week, when a senior person came in looking for the perfect senior dog.... Match made in heaven!

Lucky Lucy was found in a dog kennel in a church parking lot with an enoumous hole in the side of her skull.  We do not know that hole got there, but she overcame this and was adopted out to a forever home!

Syra came to the shelter as a stray. Apparently she had been hit by a car and was dragging her left front leg.  It was diagnosed as severe nerve damage, and the leg needed to be amputated.  The QCPAWS Angel Fund paid for the surgery and she went into foster care with a volunteer.  She eventually went to a wonderful home, has a new brother, Maynard the Golden Retriever, and a couple of cat friends.  It is said that she is known by the whole neighborhood.
